Jeff Ruen, Managing Partner – Leander Wealth Management LLC
Jeff Ruen is the Managing Partner of Leander Wealth Management LLC, where he focuses on helping families and business owners create personalized financial strategies that align with their goals and values.
Jeff began his financial services career in 1999 as a Fee-Based Financial Planner with Prudential Financial, where he achieved the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)* recognition in 2002, 2003, and 2004. He went on to serve as a Manager of Financial Services, earning multiple awards for leadership and development before joining National Life Group in 2009 as Managing Director in Austin, Texas.
In 2011, Jeff returned to Prudential to lead the reopening of its Austin regional office, overseeing all aspects of the buildout—from hiring and training to operations and growth. Within two years, his team expanded to 14 financial professionals, earning national recognition for excellence and innovation.
In 2014, Jeff transitioned from corporate leadership to independent practice to spend more time working directly with clients and his community. This passion led to the founding of Leander Wealth Management, built on a mission of helping clients achieve financial clarity and confidence through education, planning, and collaboration with their trusted advisors.
Today, Jeff serves clients throughout Central Texas and beyond, providing comprehensive financial guidance with an emphasis on goal-based planning and fee-based strategies. His dedication and results have earned him continued recognition as a Court of the Table Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)*, 2025 qualification year.
Jeff and his wife, Wendy, have been married since 1999 and are proud parents of three sons—Jax, Noah, and Hudson. Since moving to Leander in 2007, Jeff has been deeply involved in his community, coaching youth sports and serving on the boards of several local nonprofit organizations, including the Leander High School Baseball Booster Club and the Leander High School Athletic Booster Club.
